Catching up with our newest division – Complex Rehabilitation

In March, we made the decision to power the growth of a number of our most specialist businesses by grouping them together as a fourth core division under a brand new divisional MD.

Since then, all the members of our new Complex Rehabilitation division and their MD Janette Wynn have shown that with the right ideas and the right backing, you can start to make superb progress.

Powered by our people

When we first spoke to Janette, she was clear where her division’s strengths lie. The team, she told us, is everything, and it’s the skill and passion of the people she works with that most excites her about the division’s potential.

Six months on, that opinion hasn’t changed in the slightest.

“The passion and the innovation I see day in and day out are delivering a real strong foundation for growth. We’ve got plans in development to enhance the treatment options we can offer our clients, and to deliver even better outcomes.”

Is there anything about these plans Janette can share? Or are these developments still under wraps?

“From new service developments and greater use of technology and AI to enhance operational efficiency and outcomes, along with new treatment pathways to introduce, we’ll have a lot to share very soon.”

Sounds like it could be interesting.

Empowered by technology

People are only half the handl Group growth equation. We also need the right technology, and that’s something Janette’s seeing more and more of across the division.

“It’s about improving outcomes. We want to help the clinicians use technology to deliver better outcomes across the division. And if we can capture and measure those outcomes with that technology, that’s a real benefit for the insurers and legal firms we work with too.”

A lot of the work going on within Complex Rehabilitation is focused on driving innovation. We’re developing new services to overcome really pressing pain points for our partners and customers, and that’s a process that has been made much easier by the commitment and experience across the division.

But what’s happening across each company? We put the question to Janette.

How’s the division doing?

“Each of the division’s businesses,” explains Janette, “is impressing me in different ways.”

“Starting with Corporé – they’re developing some real cutting edge technology. They, along with The Treatment Network – are going to help power the division’s growth by innovating and finding new ways to support the work all of our experts can do.”

“Moving on to Harrison Associates, they have to deal with some hugely complex cases. Catastrophic injury isn’t an easy area to work in, and the way Harrison is able to get to grips with even the biggest challenges continues to impress me.”

“The same can be said for Reach and for PSP. Both working in really specialist areas of rehabilitation, both taking on challenges other companies wouldn’t have the skills or experience to tackle – and both delivering superb outcomes.”

“The whole division, they’re making life better for people. That’s something they can all take real pride in.”

As for the closing words, we’ll leave them to Janette.

“I’m actually really, really proud to be able to say this is my division. The work we’re doing is fantastic, and the big plans we have for both treatment and technology will drive even more growth for this amazing division.”
